Two Veteran Officers are caught smoking pot and one of them needed to be pepper sprayed over the reaction of being caught by fellow Officers.

I found this humorous especially when you can see the Officers reaction when some really good weed kicks in as he gets high and happy. Smoking Pot Is A Waste Of Your Life / Anti-Marijuana PSA Video. Pot Sellers Don’t Care About The Welfare Of The Users Video. Public Service Announcement video. Courtesy of wwww.abovetheinfluence.com People who smoked marijuana had changes in the blood flow in their brains even after a month of not smoking, according to a study published in the February 8 issue of Neurology, the scientific journal of the American Academy of Neurology. The findings could explain in part the problems with thinking or remembering found in other studies of marijuana users, according to study authors Ronald Herning, PhD, and Jean Lud Cadet, MD, of the National Institute on Drug Abuse in Baltimore, Md. The study involved 54 marijuana users and 18 control subjects. The marijuana users volunteered to take part in a month-long inpatient program. The blood flow velocity in brain arteries was tested with transcranial Doppler sonography in all participants at the beginning of the study and again at the end of the month for the marijuana users. The blood flow velocity was significantly higher in the marijuana users than in the control subjects, both at the beginning of the study and after a month of abstinence from marijuana use. The marijuana users also had higher values on the pulsatility index (PI), which measures the amount of resistance to blood flow. This is thought to be due to narrowing of the blood vessels that occurs when the circulation system’s ability to regulate itself is impaired. “The

Smoking causes a host of illnesses but clearly one of the most serious and documented is lung cancer. It\’s not exclusive to smokers but 9 out of 10 lung cancer deaths are from smoking cigarettes, pipes and cigars. Stopping smoking clearly is going to help to avoid getting lung cancer but this unfortunately is no certainty that an ex smoker will not at some point in the future get it. Because most of cancer causing chemical remain present in the lung structure for between 10 and 15 years after stopping smoking, the risk is ever present. The body will eventually get rid of these toxins naturally but it takes time.

This was a particularly worrying fact for me because having been a heavy smoker for 25 years I knew that my lungs would be in a very bad condition and so the prospect of firstly the chances of not being able to repair the damage caused and then secondly getting lung cancer were quite possible if not inevitable. So how was I going to set about this dilemma?

My partner had managed to quit smoking about a year before me, and bless her, she had never tried to get me to stop. She would have liked me to but she always been of the mind that I would stop when I was ready to stop! When she quit though she immediately put herself on a lung detoxification, within the first few days, which was designed to remove the toxins. She swore by it and was convinced that it not only reduced her cravings for cigarettes but that it also was a guard against getting lung cancer in the future. With her positive experience in mind it\’s what I also decided to do.

This method clears out the lungs at a much quicker pace which not only helps with the quitting smoking process but also helps to prevent lung cancer. Lung Cancer actually can begin as soon as the lung cells are exposed to the cancer causing chemicals in smoke, so a major factor with contracting it is the length of time you have smoked. The toxins actually create abnormal cells which over time can turn cancerous. If the toxins are removed then this allows the cells to begin to be replaced again by normal healthy cells and so decreases the chance of cancer. Removing these toxin quicker allows the cells to replace themselves quicker.

I\’m so pleased that I followed the simple detoxification plan and have now been quit for 6 months, my lungs feel crystal clear and I\’m enjoying life to the full.
